This policy explains what data Pipeline Mag collects when you read the magazine, why, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Pipeline Mag is an independent magazine about how AI is reshaping software design and development. The site is published at pipelinemag.ai. For any privacy question or request, contact the editor.
Cookies we use
Pipeline Mag does not use cookies for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other sites. The only cookies we may set are for analytics:
- Google Analytics — helps us understand which articles are read and how
people find the magazine, in aggregate. It sets its own cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) and IP addresses are anonymised.
These analytics cookies are off by default. They are only set after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you Decline — or never make a choice — no analytics cookies are set and no measurement data is sent, thanks to Google Consent Mode.
Strictly necessary technical storage (such as remembering your cookie choice) is kept in your browser’s local storage, not sent to us, and is exempt from consent under the GDPR / ePrivacy rules.
Changing your choice
Your consent is remembered in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser settings and reload the page — the banner will appear again so you can choose afresh.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because Pipeline Mag only processes anonymised, aggregated analytics — and only with your consent — we hold no information that identifies you personally. If you have any concern, contact us and we’ll help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The current version always lives at this address.
